JOB TITLE - Land Surveyor Technician

Description:
Survey section has immediate opening for a land surveyor technician. Responsibilities include understanding and using a variety of working procedures of measurement and survey tools and equipment, such as Electronic Total Station, Level, and GPS equipment and their capabilities and limitations. The candidate should have a basic knowledge of math and computers. Requirements include: high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 40 pounds, valid driver’s license, and ability to work outside. The position requires local and out of town assignments, generally in the areas of western New York, western Pennsylvania, western Maryland, northern Virginia, northern Tennessee, eastern Kentucy, eastern Ohio, and all of West Virginia. This is an entry level position. The candidate must be able to participate in a USDOT regulated workplace drug and alcohol program.
